CLIMBING WITH ALMA

is the story of an enigmatic encounter or unplanned meeting between an old woman called ALMA and an officious, mysterious middle-aged man and the surprising inner journey they go on together which is both vertical and horizontal.

The play is about ninety minutes and is performed without an intermission.

This world premiere is the debut production of the new non-profit theater, Poor Players of the Bay Area. Poor Players is dedicated to creating a new repertoire for the young and the old.
